Samsung S8 not able to receive/make calls or texts

My phone had an update over the weekend and since then I have not been able to make or receive calls or texts.  I have done all the cache clearing, starting and restarting with no luck.  Any thoughts?  I need my phone to work from home and log into a secure VPN so I am desperate.

Same thing.
Had the update and now I have to reset carrier services multiple times a day.
I have a galaxy s8.
Haven't had any problems or issues prior to that update.
As soon as update was complete I couldn't make calls. Sim status shows network disconnected.
Is there going to be a fix?
Those having connectivity issues since the update like the previous posters should be compensated. This is ridiculous that we pay for service and are having to reconnect to a network every day, multiple times a day.

Same problem here in eastern PA. and unable to make a call or send a text on My Galaxy S8 for about a week now.  I've called Boost 2X about this.  The first time they had me do the ##72786# network reset (on the phone's dial pad) and it did work but not for long.  I'm now doing the ##72786# reset about 8 or 9 times day just to be able to make call out or send a text.  The reset does not work every time and when it does it will fail again soon after.  On my second call to Boost, last night, they offered no help other than I needed to wait at least 72 hours for any sort of response or possible resolution, as my case has been escalated up to the "local engineer" who apparently is monitoring which cell tower my phone connects to and will report back.  Yeah right...   From reading this entire thread it appears that the root cause of this problem may be the latest Samsung update.  Like a previous poster,  I installed a Samsung update about a week ago and I too am running SW version G950USQU7DTG2.  Have any of you posters who PM'd an AGENT, at their request, heard back from them with a solution yet?

My wife and I both have the s8, but hers is the only one that's having these issues right now. She is missing texts and unable to send them too. This is a major screw up Boost, you better fix it before we all start dipping out to another carrier.

Going through all this today. Last week, got the network reset number like all of you. Two days ago they told me a tower was undergoing maintanence for the problem and to contact them if I still had the problem 24-48 hours later. Now after going through all the 'sim card removal check for updates' they told me it's a Samsung problem and to talk to them Will update on what Samsung tells me.

My problem is in western PA. Constantly inputting code too. My son's galaxy S8 is worse than mine. He is fixing his problem! After being a Boost unlimited customer for many years & always paying his monthly payment ahead of due date and getting friends to switch to Boost, he is saying NO MORE-he is going to buy a new phone and going to VERIZON!! I hope Boost (and Dish) are happy now. I forsee them losing many more customers because of this problem, maybe me too. (sad because I was going to add my mom and other son to my plan) Maybe another big network will want our business...peace out BOOST

I sent you a message, but I'm not sure what you can do if a Boost agent already sent me to Samsung for support.

Samsung took me through "wiping the cache partition", which did not solve the problem.

They require I either mail in my device or go to a Service Repair Technician at a Samsung Authorized Service Center, which I scheduled for tomorrow. If the issue is indeed the latest Samsung update as we expect, a free software re-flash is covered by Samsung, no matter the status of your warranty.

We have 2 galaxy A20s and calling and texting don't work after last update. Calling - mobile network not available. We restart update prll sometimes it works. A phone should not be this way. Any help appreciated. When I first got the phone it was great.
