Anybody have information? I'm in the same boat as indigo above, bought unlocked through amazon, of course my ancient virgin card wasn't going to work, but I was not expecting the amount of fiddlyness this phone has taken to activate. I was advised in store of the fabled 416TQ (looking back, I'm sure the employee looked up this thread). I was also told I could NOT use a expanded network card. I have tried tracking down the 416TQ everywhere to no avail, until I took the chance at ebay. I purchased a SIMGLW416TQ, as there was that or SIMOLW416TQ, and the GL was the only one I had seen mentioned anywhere in relation to the g power. Plus the OL looked like it was marketed more for apple devices, so I went for the GL.
It showed up today, tried activating, no luck. I was told the card is not compatible by support chat, and that I need an expanded network card. I tried to get a part number on the sim card, but I was given "a different number the employee can use to look up the card" MO20414BYAB1 - not sure what number that is as my post is about to be the first google result for such a string. So yeah... clear as mud at this point...
So, to anyone lucky enough to have their G power activated already, can you please do me a massive solid and check the credit card sized piece of plastic that your sim card was punched out of, and let me know the whole part number of the sim card?
