Unable to Activate New Phone (Error db_no_data_found_exception-Client.701:IMEI is not found in NMS )

I am trying to activate my new phone I received, completely unlocked to all carrier including Sprint and Boost, and I keep getting the following error:

 

db_no_data_found_exception-Client.701:IMEI is not found in NMS 

Data not found

 

Could you please assist with the problem?

 

**UPDATE: it now says the SIM is locked.**

Your feedback is greatly appreciated and will be taken in consideration. The error "db_no_data_found_exception-Client.701:IMEI is not found in NMS Data not found" is triggered when an IMEI is entered during activation and the phone is not added to our systems. This can happen with unlocked phones, which have to go through our Bring Your Own Device program, or warranty replacements, which sometimes need to be added manually to our systems. We'd need to work through private messaging when this error occurs if the Bring Your Own Device program does not resolve the issue.

when I typed the serial number to swap phones, I got past that now it is saying "We had trouble processing your ICCID. Please try again." when swapping my sim card from my old phone to new phone

Trying to Activate Microsoft Surface DUO - same error. Phone unlocked / Boost uses T-Mobile network. T-Mobile and Mint works. Boost suddenly says not compatible with the network. I guess im staying with Mint for now
